President & CEO — GoVentures, Inc.

Janis L. Tabor, President and CEO Founder and CEO of GoVentures and lead on SSOLAS commercialization, contracts, and government engagement. A Certified Association Executive (CAE), her science and engineering policy career spans congressional staff work, energy policy, engineering society government relations — including cofounding the science, engineering, and industry Congressional Visits Day program — and science communications consulting. She manages organizations, programs, and contracts, and navigates the policy, funding, and stakeholder environments that determine whether a defense technology reaches the field.

Barney F. Gorin, PE, MS, MBA

Vice President & Technical Lead — Inventor of SSOLAS

Barney F. Gorin, PE, MS, MBA, Vice President & Technical Lead – Inventor of SSOLAS and lead systems engineer. More than 50 years of experience in aerospace, robotics, and construction, including Naval Research Laboratory missions , such as the MiTEx Upper Stage and DARPA Robotic Servicing of Geosynchronous Satellites programs. His career spans spacecraft propulsion, robotic systems, and autonomous vehicle design across government and commercial programs. He brings to SSOLAS the systems engineering discipline and hands-on instrumentation experience that grounds the technology in operational reality.
